We are delighted to be holding our Centenary Gala Dinner in the wonderful Assembly Rooms to celebrate our Centenary year. The Theatre opened in 1925 as a memorial hall in memory of those who fell in the First World War. We hope the Gala Dinner will be a fitting culmination to what’s been an exciting year of celebrations.

We would be delighted to welcome you to what is expected to be an evening full of fun, great food, and entertainment from the internationally acclaimed Swing and Jazz vocalist Andrew Bourn. I’m sure many of you will remember Andrew from his brilliant performance at the Memorial in the run up to Christmas last year.

Andrew’s success began in 2014 when he burst on to the scene as part of the much loved Britain’s Got Talent swing group ‘Jack Pack’.

Andrew has more recently appeared on ITV’s ‘Starstruck’, where he stepped into the shoes of Frank Sinatra, reaching the finals of the show and gaining further reputation and acclaim.

We’re delighted he will be joining us for this very special evening.

The evening will consist of a 4 course gala dinner with coffee and sweet treats. Our chef James and his team will do their best to cater for all dietary requirements and allergens but please let us know in advance.

We’ll be holding a raffle with some great prizes so make sure you bring some raffle ticket money (but we can also take card payments!)

The dress code is Black tie

The Assembly Rooms licensed paid bar will be open for the duration of the evening.
