Frome Memorial Theatre offers a unique rehearsal space with many options to suit your individual needs and requirements.
This truly magnificent 100-year-old venue comes alive with entertainment. With one of the countries last remaining raked stages and a 535 seat, raked auditorium.
Start your tour in style, in the heart of the west country. Rehearse for as long as you need and then do a warmup show or shows. Sell out the venue, utilise our dedicated box office and make extra money before your official tour dates start.
Having recently supported Lulu and her team before she embarked on the latest leg of her ‘Champagne for Lulu’ farewell tour, we know we can offer an ideal space for you to do the same.
Assemble your tour at our venue, lighting, sound, AV, staging, costumes, merchandise, even the kitchen sink!
This venue has its own large secure car park, with parking and mains power for a tour bus and space dedicated to parking for 44’ articulated lorry.
Frome has a train station that is just over a mile away, offering great links to London and other parts of the country.
Frome and the surrounding area also boasts some of the finest dining with many artisan shops and restaurants nearby. We have forged links with some restaurants and hotels locally to accommodate artists and crew. We have access to executive minibus services to take your team to their respective hotels.
On site you will have access to dressing rooms, a shower, washing machine, iron and ironing board, full use of the internet. We can also offer additional space for flight case storage and sorting merchandise.
We have 2 fully stocked bars and a large kitchen available on request. We have several preferred caterers that can cater for your staff should you require, or you can bring in your own caterers.
As part of the hire, you would have access to an in-house technician that would be there for as much or as little as you require. Our in-house technician’s also double up as runners. They have a great local knowledge and can point you in the right direction of pretty much anything you need.
